Late afternoon and quiet until our arrival, the additional bar staff made sure everyone was swiftly satisfied with refreshments in this gem of a preserved bahnhof! Many were fascinated by the Phipps brewery nostalgia adorning the walls.

Just decided I fancied it and jumped on a bus. Dark nights bring out the Victorian ambiance great place a station bar with real atmosphere.

Elland - Grateful Deaf5.20AcceptableRather bitter and hoppy, and a hint of Sorachi detected in this although it's supposed to be an American Pale Ale. My score 13/20.

In Station Approach, CAMRA Club of the Year 2010 bar in the really friendly place with the bar in the former ladies waiting room of the station and a skittles room in a railway carriage sitting on the platform. They have gas lighting, open fires and a great attitude to strangers.

We have visited this pub 15 times, seen 56 different beers and tried 32 of them.
