Beer festival bar set up in a railway carriage weather was fine I was the worse for wear but slept great been offered a lift which will be a great help in future.

Nethergate - Priory Mild3.50ExcellentGood mix of chocolate and roast malt and a hint of hoppines in the finish. My score 16/20.
Elland - Grateful Deaf5.20AcceptableRather bitter and hoppy, and a hint of Sorachi detected in this although it's supposed to be an American Pale Ale. My score 13/20.

Relaxed friendly place all the beers had the residue in pipes pulled through before being served just nice. Shame I only had time for short visit.

It's official I am a member invited to join a group sitting outside on the platform chatting about the 2 local spoons but the beer here way better.

Oakham - Tranquility6.50ExcellentTrouble is its dangerous can taste loads going on fruity malts alcohol sweetness with those typical tangerine citrus hops quite fancied another but 6.5% I think not.

Was some sort of seniors do on so place heaving so 2 quick pints reduced to one by the hoards waiting. Once they sort roads out both buses come together and i can spend evening there, but not risking needing a taxi.

CAMRA club of the year 2010 bar in the really friendly place with the bar in the former ladies waiting room of the station and a skittles room in a railway carriage sitting on the platform. They have gas lighting open fires a great attitude to strangers which is why I a joining.

We have visited this pub 9 times, seen 37 different beers and tried 21 of them.
