IanAcceptable07 Oct 2009 A little ascetic on aroma and a little ascetic on the finish. Bit in middle is fine but ultimately disappointing. A little tight in the mouth too, needs a day to open up. Always harsh on beers in the brewery tap

IanExcellent14 Mar 2010 What a fantastic beer. Just a little down on perfection as I think it had been on for a day or two, but even still the hops are fabulous.
IanExcellent04 Jun 2007 Despite the problems of getting this served, it was brilliant, fresh hop flavours.
IanExcellent20 May 2007 Lovely citrusy hops, nearly perfect. And served without a sparkler.
IanExcellent05 May 2007 Funnily enough I had this on my way home bright bottled from the cask at Reading BF. Stunning here too, the citrus is gorgeous.
IanExceptional09 Dec 2005 Just as good as the day before.
IanExceptional08 Dec 2005 Pale gold in colour with thin creamy white head. Sherbert and Turkish delight with citric hop on the aroma. Light in mouth with astringent citric grapefruit hop on the end. This balances the sherberty sweetness. Just pours down the throat. Simply a delight to drink

PedroPoor27 Feb 2010 One of my favourite beers, it looked great but it had no flavour, and I couldn't drink it all ! Didn't bother looking at other beers !
DosserExceptional31 Jan 2010 Wonderful beer amongst several rather ordinary ones.

DubbelExcellent07 Aug 2009 Goddammit. This was as light and refreshing as you would expect but still hasn't recaptured that glittering form of April. As such, I can't help but be slightly disappointed when it's anything less than sheer perfection in a glass.
DubbelNot Tried27 Mar 2009
DubbelExceptional25 Mar 2009 Top of the barrel. Pure enjoyment in a glass.
DubbelExceptional20 Mar 2009 Sex. See 17 March.
DubbelExceptional17 Mar 2009 I'll never get over this beer. Especially when its served like this. Magnificent.
IanExceptional14 Feb 2009 Enormously good. Outstanding. Love the hop, almost like shards of glass bursting over the tongue. Stunning. I had this side by side with the fresh Inferno afterwards. Hard to pick a winner, but the Inferno just about won out.
DubbelExceptional13 Feb 2009 Chocced full of grapefruit and lime, dry yet fruity finish, some discreet strawberry never previously detected. In the form of its life.
