AndrewExceptional09 Jan 2009 It was just froth in a pint glass as she poured it but to her credit we eventually got full pints without asking for them to be topped up. Given it's lively nature I wondered if it would be up to much but it was brilliant. The flavours were so well integrated that it was like drinking a velvet pulse (make of that what you like but I know what I mean). Fresh strawberry and melon were present with fruity malt. Brilliant.
AndrewGood20 Dec 2008 Nice strawberry flavours. Slightly rich with some tanins and some reedy notes. Reminds me of those Strawberry-Cream sweets you get at your grans.

AndrewExcellent01 Sep 2008 In excellent condition. Smelt of strawberries and tasted of strawberry and toffee with a gravely bite on the finish. Lovely.
BrianNot Tried15 Aug 2008 The landlord told a customer who was looking for advice that this was his best beer on offer. And as he's about 6 foot 7 I didn't feel inclined to disagree.

SteveNot Tried06 Jun 2007 Was tempted but didn't have the time
IanGood27 May 2007 Really very drinkable. I think this may have been toned down to an extent as well as the Skrimshander. Having said that, I could still taste the hops on the walk home.

IanExcellent05 Dec 2006 I think that this was the best pint of Incubus that I have had in this pub. Crystal clear amber/orange colour with lasting beige head. Malt fruits and hop were integrated and the conditioning was just right, giving a full mouth feel and good carbonation.
IanGood16 Nov 2006 Good rich fruity malt and aggressive hop finish. Sometimes though, it can feel a bit separated like the malt and hop aren't in total harmony.
IanGood11 Nov 2006 Drinkable enough. Nice rich fruity malt and balancing hop on end.

IanGood01 May 2006 Had a couple of pints as a pre-lunch aperatif. I found a quiet corner by the window and read. Quite pleasant really. The beer had some of its good malty nature and sweetness and the hops were good enough to be interesting.
IanGood23 Apr 2006 Better than Friday night. Had some of that good intense rich red berry fruit and sharp hop. Still not perfect though. Perhaps I drink too much of this and I am becoming picky about it.
IanAcceptable21 Apr 2006 Seemed a bit watery to me.
IanGood28 Mar 2006 Last pint out of the barrel. But lovely. Good rich malt fruit with good hop on end. Would have liked to have had another.
IanNot Tried26 Mar 2006
IanGood12 Mar 2006 Not quite at its best, but still a good supping pint with enough hop and fruity malt to make you want to have another
IanExcellent07 Mar 2006 I'm always a bit weary of this in a Wetherspoon's as I know how good it can be. This was excellent. Just the right mix of rich malt and tangy herby hop. Really very good and I could have had more.
IanNot Tried31 Jan 2006
IanAcceptable08 Jan 2006 Looks as though Hopdaemon are supplying the Wetherspoons pubs in the area with Incubus on a regular basis, seen it in Folkestone, Ashford and Maidstone. This had some choc malt, some nice rich fruit flavour and some toffee. Hoppy finish. Thin and tinny compared to what it can be though

AndrewNot Tried07 Oct 2006
AndrewExceptional09 Sep 2006 Not my favourite Hopdaemon beer but still absolutely brillant. Lots of dark red fruit and some mellon. Wonderfully soft in the mouth with a subtle strawberry finish.
AndrewExcellent01 Jul 2006 I don't usually drink Incubus as I prefer Hopdaemon's other beers. However, this was lovely. Lots of mellon and lychee and grape with a rich red fruit and mild bitter finish.

IanGood10 Dec 2005 Mid red brown with thin bubbly beige head. Some nice fruit, but a tad watery, good red fruits and hop. But still a tad thin. OK but normally a bit fuller and creamier
