The pub is found in Stanford-le-Hope, Essex, SS17 0EU.

A traditional, two-roomed pub, five minutes' walk from the railway station and next door to St Margaret’s church. A good supporter of Essex breweries. 5 handpumps in the left hand bar plus a cider (or maybe two) in a box on the back counter. Since early 2014 has been an outlet for the new local Hope brewery. The best real ale boozer in Stanford-le-Hope and in the 2014 CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Real ale price discount for card carrying CAMRA members.

We have visited this pub 6 times, seen 27 different beers and tried 14 of them.
