An early departure from London by car saw us ensconced in here at 10:30am for a full breakfast and a couple of beers brewed just down the road at this pub’s sister pub, the Trent Navigation. Good to meet up here with Tony, Alison, Sarah and Bernie – Nottingham friends of very long standing.

No mild on here, but an interesting substitute. Pub was very busy on a Saturday afternoon.
