28 Feb 2024 (Magnus Greel)
I enjoyed my visit so much yesterday thus decided to utilise day 2 of my box and return for more mid afternoon joy. I can see how this fabulous boozer can fall into the legendary 'craze pub' genre! Oh if only I lived nearer...
BeerABVScoreNotes
Windsor & Eton - Conqueror5.00ExcellentA complex toasty roasted coffee and subtle liquorice fare.
Cellar Head - Flapjack4.70ExcellentAh now this ticked all the smooth creamy silky smooth boxes with a more bitter than sweet aftertaste
Twickenham (also uses sub-brand Old Hands) - Honey Dark4.80GoodMore of a boiled sweet 'lockets' honeyness than infused brewed flavours.
