09:58 I last visited this cafe in 2007, the Landlady called her son from over the road to translate, we had a geuze and she gave us a Kriek. Today was a complete repeat. When the son poked his head around the door I said we have done this before and he agreed. A long conversation ensued during which he told us that De Troch have released a draught lambic. Mr Slaughter mentioned the exposed urinals at the Welkom and he said he knew another one like that near here. After much discussion between him, his parents and a newly arrived customer we were given an address in Dilbeek. After saying our goodbyes we duly set off for it.

The pub is found in Sint-Katherina-Lombeek, Belgium, 1742.

Single room cafe with a tiled floor and bizarrely a mirror ball. It has been a pub for about fifty years. Initially it was the only house in the village with a television, neighbours came to watch, drinks were served and the transition to cafe followed. The bar counter dates from that time. The landlady serves during the day and her husband takes over at night. Opens at 09:00 on Sundays.

We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried both.
