About 11:30 am and time for a pint whilst walking from the railway station to the Beer Hall. Fairly quiet at this time of day but still enough customers to keep the staff occupied. I sat by the bay window and noticed that this pub boasts two Bisset Automatic Dart Scorers, however I think the pillar in front of the dart board would put me off the game.

I have never been here before, but I just followed everyone else when I alighted from the train. It seemed that everyone was going to the Beer Hall via the Eagle and Child. A good crowd of people all supping the ales. There was also a keg lager from Hawkshead Brewery available.
