Rushed here from central London for last knockings to be faced we are closed early. Explanations varied from we are short of staff to we had an incident but with several people still drinking there all sounded unconvincing.

The pub is found in Lewisham, Greater London, SE13 6JP.

A busy pub in Lewisham High Street that's small by Wetherspoon's standards. Bookshelves around internal pillars make views across the floor difficult. A bit like a chameleon it changes clientele during its long day, attracting market folk whilst the street market is open then a mixed group of faces later on. Here staff do get to know their customers. Sports 2 banks each of 6 handpumps.

We have visited this pub 523 times, seen 789 different beers and tried 349 of them.
